Welcome to Newnham Archers!
Newnham Archery Club was founded in 2015 and welcomes all. We are a small, friendly club and can provide a relaxing setting to practice and enjoy archery.
We are proud to include members of all ages and welcome any archer wishing to shoot at our peaceful range near the banks of the River Severn.

Our Club
Welcoming and competitive Archery Club based in Newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire. (See Map for location).
We currently have one head coach Mike, 2nd coach Roger and further instructors Peter, Susan and Adrian. We have members who regularly participate in local and national field shoots and local and national target archery tournaments. We also have members of our Juniors who are in the GB team, County team and County Development squad.

We welcome all those who would like to try their hand at the ancient art of archery with a view to taking up the sport and joining our club, see below for lessons, or for those who just want to see what archery is all about.

Range Returners
Are you looking to get back into archery? A simple refresher session can soon get you back up and shooting. We’re ready to welcome you back to the shooting line so you can continue with the sport you love. The Archery GB website has more information about being a Range Returner
Lessons
Lessons include an introduction to archery including the correct shooting technique and how to shoot safely within a club environment.
Events
We host a variety of seasonal club events throughout the year, including visits to other clubs and friendly competitions.

Our location
Outdoors (when the weather permits) at the Newnham on Severn Cricket Club, Brightlands Field, Severnbank Avenue, Newnham on Severn, GL14 1BJ. This is accessed from the A48 through the new access road leading to the new development by Freeman Homes, Severnbank Avenue, Newnham on Severn.
Please note we do have access to toilet facilities within the Cricket Club Pavilion, although not the most modern of facilities they are adequate.
